A set of precise self-adhesive masks from the Czech brand New Ware for plastic models of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter supersonic fighter in 1:72 scale. It covers the F-104J, F-104G, F-104S and CF-104 variants. It is not a model but a masking aid for painting. The masks are die-cut from quality Japanese kabuki tape, which shapes into curves, holds a sharp edge and leaves no adhesive when taken off.
With its thin straight wing the F-104 was among the fastest fighters of its era and in export versions it served with a number of air forces; the J version flew in Japan, the S in Italy and the CF-104 in Canada.
For modelers who want to spray the cockpit frames cleanly without laborious masking with tape. BASIC is the basic level aimed at the canopy and the wheels.
The set does not contain the model itself or paints. Apply the masks onto a degreased and clean surface.
