This is not an aircraft model but a set of self-adhesive masks from New Ware, intended for plastic models of the F-104 Starfighter fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks are machine cut (die-cut) with precision from kabuki paper, which follows curved shapes well and comes off after spraying without adhesive residue. The EXPERT level is the most complete: it contains masking of the cockpit frames from the outer and inner faces of the glazing (double-sided masking, known as TFace), the other clear parts and the landing gear wheels.

The real subject

The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was an American supersonic interceptor with a characteristically slender fuselage and a very thin trapezoidal wing, nicknamed the missile with a man in it. The set covers the main variants: the export G, the Japanese J and the Italian S, including the Canadian CF-104.
