New Ware 1:72 F4D-1 Skyray EXPERT is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for models of the American Douglas F4D-1 Skyray carrier fighter at the EXPERT level, that is including the inner face of the cockpit.

A masking set from the Czech maker New Ware for plastic models of the F4D-1 Skyray delta fighter at the EXPERT grade. The kabuki tape set contains masks for the cockpit glazing from the outside and the inside, the other clear parts and the wheels. Against the basic version it additionally adds masks for the inner face of the canopy, so the frames stay colored even when you look into an open cockpit.
The Douglas F4D-1 Skyray was an American carrier fighter and interceptor of the 1950s with a striking delta wing. It was the first carrier machine of the US Navy able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight and held several speed records of its day. It was later redesignated F-6A. Its single-seat cockpit with its readable framing is ideal for precise masking.
Apply the masks to a degreased and smooth finish. The pre-cut pieces follow the frames exactly and there is no need to cut with a knife straight on the model. Kabuki tape adapts to curved surfaces and comes off without adhesive residue when the job is done. Use the inner masks if you want to leave the cockpit open.
This is a masking accessory, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
