This is a masking set, not a model. The ADVANCED level is the middle variant of the New Ware line. It contains pre-cut (die-cut) self-adhesive masks of kabuki tape for the cockpit canopy including the sealing strips of the glazing, the other clear parts, the wheels and as a rule also masks for the demarcation of the camouflage on a Tu-22M3 model in 1:72 scale.

The real subject

The Tupolev Tu-22M3 Backfire is a Soviet, later Russian, supersonic strategic bomber with a variable-geometry wing. It serves to carry guided missiles and bombs over long distances. Its large fuselage and long cockpit glazing make the model a striking piece, but a demanding one to mask.
