This is not an aircraft kit but a set of precisely cast exhaust stubs that take the place of the simpler plastic parts from the kit. The cast exhausts have a faithful shape and hollowed-out outlets, a detail that the plastic parts from the box usually lack.
The exhausts are clearly visible on the sides of the fighter's fuselage, and replacing them with a resin casting noticeably raises the realism of the model. The set is designed for the later variants of the Emil, typically the Bf-109E-4 and E-7. The accessory is for more experienced modelers. The parts are shaped for the Airfix kit.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Carefully cut the fine casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a realistic look, dark metallic shades set off by rusty and burnt tones work well, possibly with a fine soot pigment.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
