1:72 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-14/AS, Eduard mask set

A set of self-adhesive Eduard masks in 1:72 scale for masking the canopy glazing and the circular areas when painting a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-14/AS fighter. The masks are die-cut from yellow masking material and match the shapes of the frames exactly, which speeds the work up and gives sharp paint edges.

The real subject

The Bf 109G-14 belonged to the late production versions of the most widespread German fighter of the Second World War. The /AS sub-variant had the high-altitude DB 605AS engine with a larger supercharger for better performance at height, which also changed the shape of the engine cowling. It was used in the closing phase of the war.

Use

• Apply the masks to degreased, dry glazing and press the edges down firmly.
• Spray the interior color first, then the top shade of the frames.
