Messerschmitt Me 262B-1a masking set (1:72, Peewit)

This is not an airplane model but a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing of the two-seat version of the Messerschmitt Me 262B-1a jet aircraft in 1:72 scale. The masks from the Czech maker Peewit are die-cut from thin masking tape and follow exactly the frames of the long two-seat canopy, which is tedious to cover by hand.

Use

• Clean and degrease the glazing.
• Lay the masks precisely on the individual canopy frames and press them down firmly.
• Cover the surroundings and apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush.
• Once dry, lift the masks off and you have sharp frames.
