A set of four figures cast in resin for experienced modelers, not a tank model. It represents German crewmen of a Tiger I heavy tank on the Eastern Front, in 1:35 scale. Royal Model is an Italian maker of quality resin figures; the set will bring a diorama or a Tiger model to life with the human element of the period.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, feared for its powerful gun and its armor. Its crew was made up of five men: the commander, the gunner, the loader, the driver and the radio operator. Figures of crewmen in characteristic uniforms and poses, typically leaning out of the turret, are among the favorite accessories for models of armor.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that no mold release agent is left on the surface. Cut the casting blocks and supports off with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw, and never break them off. Sand the marks wet and always with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer; dry-fit the figures into the turret before the final composition of the scene. Finish the uniforms off with a wash and drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted in resin. Glue, paints and the tank model are not included in the package.
