This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model. The precisely cast cannon barrels replace the soft and dimensionally inaccurate plastic parts from the kit of the Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter in 1:72 scale. The resin version has a sharper muzzle profile and truer detail than injection-molded plastic. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The MiG-15 was a Soviet single-seat jet fighter of the late 1940s with sharply swept wings, which made its name in the Korean War. Its strong point was the heavy gun armament concentrated under the nose, made up of a combination of cannons of different calibers. It is precisely their barrels that this set sharpens.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water, so that any mold release residue disappears. Separate the barrels carefully from the casting block with a sharp knife, clean up the surface and glue them in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). When sanding resin, protect your airways with a respirator. For extra fidelity the muzzles can be lightly drilled out with a micro drill.
