A detail set of the Brassin line meant to bring out the pilot's compartment of the MiG-15bis fighter markedly in the small 1:72 scale. The cockpit is cast in resin and completed with photo-etched parts; it brings a finely worked instrument panel, side consoles, an ejection seat and other elements that the part from the box cannot offer. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a replacement interior.
The MiG-15bis was the improved version of the Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter with a more powerful engine. The machine became one of the icons of the early jet era and was used in many countries.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. In a small scale the colored photo-etch and good emphasis of the detail with a wash and dry-brushing come out well. Do the work with resin with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
