An extensive set of painting masks from the Czech maker New Ware for a model of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25RBF reconnaissance and bomber version in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit. The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive New Ware range: besides the cockpit glazing it usually also covers masks for the wheels and other elements, which allow a clean spray job on a greater number of details of the model.
The die-cut masks follow the frames of the glazing and the shapes of the other masked areas exactly. They give sharp edges and a symmetry that would be hard to reach freehand, and they come off cleanly after spraying.
Degrease the areas, press the masks down and spray the paint in thin coats. With larger sets, work systematically in groups and lift the masks off with tweezers.
