Quinta Studio 1:72 MiG-29 9-13 is an interior set that completes the pilot's compartment of a model of the Soviet frontline fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit – the set is there to equip the cockpit of a model already bought and brings pre-colored instruments, panels and controls into it. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Zvezda 7278 kit.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engine fourth-generation fighter built above all for air combat at short and medium range. The 9-13 variant differs from the first production aircraft in an enlarged dorsal superstructure behind the cockpit, which gave the aircraft more internal volume. Two separate engine nacelles, prominent wing root extensions and twin vertical tail surfaces are characteristic.
Try the placement of the parts dry first and note the spots where it is worth leveling the seating surface. Work with fine tweezers and in good light, so the edges of the small panels are visible. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage halves – you will not reach the instrument panel afterward.
