Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet frontline fighter MiG-29 in the basic 9-12 configuration (NATO code Fulcrum-A), in its late production form, in 1:72 scale from Great Wall Hobby. It is a modern tooling with fine surface engraving, separate flaps and a generous choice of external stores. The canopy can be built open or closed.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engined fourth-generation fighter designed for air combat at short and medium range. Its recognition features are the widely spaced engine nacelles, the pronounced wing leading-edge root extensions and the upper auxiliary intakes, which feed air to the engines during taxiing, takeoff and landing and protect them from ingesting debris from unpaved surfaces. The Fulcrum served with a number of air forces of the former Eastern bloc and of other countries.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Mask the clear canopy and fit it only after painting. Fit the pylons and missiles to suit the scheme you choose, at the end. Join the parts with thin liquid cement for plastic, treat the surface with a primer and apply the colors with an airbrush in thin coats; a wash will bring out the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
