Eduard Brassin 1:72 MiG-29A ejection seat is a resin ejection seat that replaces the kit seat on MiG-29A models with a faithful casting with photo-etched belts.

It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory in resin from the manufacturer Eduard. The set replaces the kit ejection seat in the cockpit of MiG-29A models in 1:72 scale. Photo-etched harness belts are usually included as well, so the seat looks far more faithful than a simplified plastic part.
The MiG-29A uses the Zvezda K-36DM ejection seat, one of the most effective escape seats of its day, with a characteristic shape and a stabilization system. Because the cockpit is clearly visible under the glazing at this scale, a faithful seat with belts markedly raises the overall impression of the model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting block under the seat and sand the surface with respiratory protection, and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the photo-etched belts and darken them with a wash, so that the structure of the straps and buckles comes out. The body of the seat is usually sprayed dark gray with colored cushions.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it consists of resin and photo-etched parts for completing a plastic model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
