Eduard 1:72 MiG-29A Fulcrum is a photo-etched detail set, not a model. It adds fine metal detail to a plastic kit of the MiG-29A Fulcrum that injected plastic cannot manage.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a kit but a photo-etched detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It contains fine etched parts that sharpen and enliven a plastic model of the MiG-29A Fulcrum, supplementing and replacing detail that injected plastic cannot capture faithfully.
The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engine fourth-generation fighter designed to win air superiority, which entered service in the 1980s. It stands out for its powerful engines, its agility in a turning fight and its distinctive silhouette with twin tailfins. Its NATO reporting name is Fulcrum and it still serves with a number of air arms around the world.
The photo-etched parts are meant for advanced modelers. The individual pieces are separated from the fret with a sharp knife, bent on a bending tool or over a sharp edge and joined with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger areas can also be soldered. Degrease the parts before gluing so that they hold well. A coat of primer pulls the assembly together, followed by the airbrush and light accenting with a wash. The set is an accessory to a plastic MiG-29A Fulcrum kit in 1:72 scale, which has to be bought separately.
