A standalone detail accessory, not a model of a helicopter. The set contains resin wheels for the Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter and its export version Mi-35 in 1:72 scale. The wheels have a fine tire tread pattern and are usually rendered with a realistic flattened contact patch, so the machine looks naturally loaded by its own weight.
The Mil Mi-24, under the NATO code name Hind, is a heavy attack and at the same time transport helicopter of Soviet design. The combination of strong armament with the ability to carry troops made it one of the best known combat helicopters; the Mi-35 version is its upgraded export standard.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels and cut off the casting blocks. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a matte dark gray, not pure black, and pick the hubs out; the bottom of the wheels can be dusted with pigments for a service effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
