About product

Mirage F.1 photo-etched set (1:72, Eduard)

This is not a kit, but a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is intended for improving a plastic model of the French Dassault Mirage F.1 fighter in 1:72 scale.

The real subject

The Dassault Mirage F.1 was a single-seat supersonic fighter with a swept wing rather than a delta. It entered service in the 1970s and served in France and in a number of other countries as a fighter and fighter-bomber.

What the set offers and usage tips

The set refines the visible surfaces of the cockpit and small external details. The etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent in a bending tool and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting the brass we recommend degreasing the surface and spraying on a primer.

Who the set is for

  • modelers who want to raise the detail of the cockpit and airframe
  • more experienced builders used to working with etched parts
  • building the Mirage F.1 model in 1:72 scale

The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
