A set of Mk-5 seat belts in 1:72 scale, made by 3D printing. A cockpit accessory, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small accessory for the cockpit of an aircraft model. These are seat belts designated Mk-5, made by 3D printing in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor a seat, but a set of belts that are fitted to a seat out of the box or to a resin replacement.
The seat is the first thing a viewer sees in an open cockpit. Kits tend to have the belts suggested only in shallow relief, or do not deal with them at all, and the seat then looks empty. Separately made belts have a thickness of their own, can be draped over the edge of the shell and left to hang loose, so the cockpit looks inhabited at once. In 1:72 scale this is one of the few touches that really shows once the canopy is closed.
For modelers who are building an aircraft in 1:72 scale with an open canopy and want the cockpit to hold up under a close look. Working with parts this small calls for tweezers and patience; a beginner should first try fitting them dry.
The package contains belts only. The seat, the cockpit, the kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
