The 1:72 Mk.10 ejection seats for the Mirage 2000 B, D and N by Rise144models are a resin accessory for the cockpit of the two-seat versions of the Mirage 2000.

The set replaces the seats in the cockpit of a model of the two-seat Mirage 2000 in 1:72 scale with more finely made resin parts. It is intended for the Mirage 2000B, 2000D and 2000N versions, that is for tandem cockpits with two seats. The manufacturer also carries a single-seat version separately for the basic Mirage 2000, so you choose by the version you are building.
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French supersonic aircraft with a delta wing that replaced older types in the French Air Force and found a number of export users. Besides the single-seat fighter versions, two-seat ones came about as well: the Mirage 2000B is the training version, while the Mirage 2000N and the Mirage 2000D are strike machines with a crew of a pilot and a weapon systems officer. All three have a lengthened canopy and two seats one behind the other, so the interior is far more visible on a model than on the single-seat versions. Martin-Baker ejection seats of the Mk.10 series are among the types usable even at zero altitude and zero speed, and the characteristic shape of their backrest and headbox is clearly readable in a cockpit.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks away with a fine saw and level the surface with sandpaper with your airways protected. Seat the seats with cyanoacrylate glue before the fuselage is closed up and keep checking the fit of the canopy. You will manage the painting with a brush: a darker base, a dry brush on the edges, the straps in a different shade and a fine dark wash in the recesses. Finally a matte varnish, so that the cockpit does not read as glossy. In a two-seat cockpit, paint both seats together so that they match in tone.
