Responsibility details are not available.
Plastic kit of the Swiss Morane D-3801 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech company RS Models. It is a short-run injection-molded model with fine detail; the box offers decals for three aircraft of the Swiss Air Force. For the scope and the exact contents of the box, follow the enclosed instructions.
The Morane D-3801 was the Swiss development of the French Morane-Saulnier MS.406 fighter. In Switzerland the aircraft was built under license and fitted with a more powerful Hispano-Suiza 12Y series engine. Domestic plants handled production and deliveries ran in the first half of the 1940s; more than two hundred were built in total. The aircraft served with the Swiss Air Force as fighters and later as trainers for a number of postwar years.
Short-run molds call for careful cleaning of the flash from the parts and for dry-fitting before gluing. Use thin cement for plastic and fine-tune the small parts by sanding. A primer before spraying will reveal any unevenness; an airbrush suits the painting. Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
