Injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Smer. It captures the Morane-Saulnier MS.406, the main French fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. The box contains gray plastic parts, clear cockpit parts, decals and instructions. It is a proven kit of the classic kind.
The Morane-Saulnier MS.406 was the most numerous French fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. It was a single-seat low-wing monoplane of mixed construction with a fixed engine installation. Although by 1940 it had already been outclassed in performance by the newer German fighters, it formed the backbone of the French Air Force and served with other operators too. It was marked out by good handling and toughness.
With a classic mold, expect some flash, so clean up the parts and check the fit. Paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage, and glue the clear parts with a cement that leaves no film. A primer base and the typical French three-color camouflage of 1940 are the way to go; lay a gloss base under the decals and pick out the panels with a thin wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
