This is an aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right. The set contains a resin radar cover for the nose of the night fighter version of the Mosquito. It replaces the part from the box with a more accurate shape and is intended for de Havilland Mosquito NF Mk.XII models in 1:72 scale.
The de Havilland Mosquito was among the most successful British aircraft of the Second World War. The night fighter versions carried radar in the nose, whose characteristic aerodynamic cover, the thimble nose, changes the silhouette of the front end. A faithful shape for that cover is the key to a convincing model of a night version.
Wash the part to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting block and adjust the face to the nose of the fuselage. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fill and sand the joints if necessary, so that the cover runs smoothly into the fuselage. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
