A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for a model of the American twin-engine medium bomber North American B-25C Mitchell.
Responsibility details are not available.
The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War with twin vertical tail surfaces and with piston radial engines. The B-25C version belongs to the early series and served in Europe, in the Mediterranean and in the Pacific, where the machines often flew deep below the clouds and against shipping. It was precisely with the Mitchells that personal paintings and unit insignia appeared conspicuously often, so the choice of decals on a model decides which machine you are actually building.
This is a standalone decal sheet for a model in 1:72 scale, that is, an accessory to a kit. Which machines the sheet covers, what insignia, codes and inscriptions it carries and how many variants it offers are given by the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
The decals are wet. Cut the element out close to the artwork, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until the film starts to slide freely on the backing paper. The base on the model should be glossy, as on matte paint a silvery veil forms under the film. Slide the element into place, draw the excess water off with a cloth from the center toward the edges and draw it into the engravings with softener. Lay large insignia on the tail surfaces into their final position at the first attempt, as sliding tears tacky film. Finally go over everything with a sealing clear coat.
A decal sheet is supplied. The kit, paints, clear coats and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
