Responsibility details are not available.
Obyekt 483 is the designation of a Soviet experimental flamethrower tank. Instead of a barreled gun it carried a flamethrower, so its use was limited to short range, but worked against fortified positions and built-in firing points. The vehicle was based on the chassis of the postwar T-54 medium tank, with which it shared the hull and the running gear. It stayed a trial machine and never reached series production, which makes it a subject you come across rarely.
The set is in 1:72 scale and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The contents of the package, the material of the parts and the order of assembly are given in the manufacturer's instructions; follow them when choosing the glue as well.
Cut any excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down, so that the edge keeps its original shape. Wash and degrease the parts before painting; on an ungreased surface the finish holds badly and rubs off during handling. Apply the paint in several thin layers, as in this scale a heavy layer quickly clogs the surface detail. Then bring the contrast back with a dark wash into the recesses and a fine dusting of the lower areas.
A kit is supplied. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
