A paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics AIR range, a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle. Olive Drab 41 is a flat brownish olive green, the main upper camouflage shade of the US Army Air Forces. It sprays like a lacquer, is thinned with water or with acrylic thinner and is non-toxic and not flammable.
In the first half of the 1940s Olive Drab covered the upper surfaces of a large part of American army aircraft. It was combined with a neutral gray on the underside and was worn by the fighters and bombers of the period. On machines in service the shade faded markedly, which makes it a rewarding base for modulation and shading.
For modelers of American aircraft of the early 1940s who want a faithful upper olive camouflage.
A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and not flammable. Even so, work in a ventilated room and use extraction while airbrushing.
