This accessory is a precisely turned metal pitot (airspeed) tube for models of the OV-10 Bronco observation and light attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. In a small scale the plastic part is especially thin and fragile; the metal replacement is strong and straight and stands up to ordinary handling of a finished model.
A hole of the matching diameter is drilled in the model and the metal part is glued in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Metal holds paint even after a coat of primer; it can also be toned by chemical blackening.
This is a separate detail accessory. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
