This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The resin interior replaces the cockpit of the base kit. On the Bronco that investment pays off unusually well: the canopy glazing is extensive and reaches below seat level, so you can see inside from the side, from above and from below. On this type the simplified plastic tub has nowhere to hide.
The Bronco is a twin-engined observation and light attack aircraft with twin tail booms and seats arranged in tandem. The cockpit is long and broken up, with different front and rear positions. For the modeler that means more work, but also more room where detail can stand out. The resin casting gives side walls with relief, raised panels and seats with no mold parting line. Check the exact contents of the package against the instructions in the box.
Wash the parts in warm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces by sanding, with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Because the cockpit is long, dry-fit it over its whole length and in each fuselage half separately — uneven seating only shows after gluing, when correcting it is awkward. Paint and finish the interior, including the wash and the dry brush work, before you close the fuselage. Polish and varnish the glazing carefully, because on such a large area every scratch shows. Let the interior dry thoroughly before gluing the clear parts, so that the fumes from the glue do not fog the glazing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
