Curtiss P-40E/K/M/N armament set 1:72 is a resin accessory from CMK that faithfully replaces the wing gun bays and ammunition boxes on models of the Curtiss P-40 in the E, K, M and N versions.

This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. It contains finely cast parts of the wing armament, the gun bays on the underside of the wing and the ammunition boxes with their access panels on the upper surface, intended to replace the plastic parts on models of Curtiss P-40 fighters in the E, K, M and N versions in 1:72 scale. The set is prepared for the P-40 kits from Special Hobby.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was among the most widespread American fighters of the early Second World War. The later versions carried six 12.7 mm machine guns in the wings; it is exactly this armament that the set renders with a markedly higher level of detail than production plastic allows.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The details come out after painting and a fine accent with a wash or a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
