This resin set precisely casts a Hamilton Standard type propeller for a model of the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The casting offers a more faithful shape of the blades and of the propeller hub than the plastic part from the base mold.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was an American heavy fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine and a rugged structure. The aircraft was built with propellers of several types, among them the Hamilton Standard propeller, whose blade shape differed from the other configurations.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Recommended for modelers with experience of resin accessories. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
