A modern injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale that captures the early version of the legendary American North American P-51B Mustang fighter aircraft. The Mustang Aces boxing brings decals for the machines of American fighter aces. The mold is designed with current technology and offers fine engraving and clear cockpit parts with a framed canopy.
The P-51B was the first truly high-performing version of the Mustang, powered by a license-built Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It was precisely this variant with the framed canopy that gave the Allies a long-range escort fighter able to protect the bombers deep over Europe and in other theaters as well. Mustangs became one of the key types of the Second World War.
Glue the plastic parts with thin cement for polystyrene and dry-fit the joints first. Before airbrushing we recommend a filling primer. Apply gloss clear under the decals; many of the machines carried a metallic natural finish, which will stand out with metallic shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
