An injection-molded plastic kit of the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Arma Hobby. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; according to the instructions supplied it also allows the P-51K and the F-6 photo-reconnaissance variants to be built. Decals and painting masks are usually included; for the exact package contents follow the manufacturer's information and the instructions.
The P-51D Mustang was one of the best fighters of the Second World War. Thanks to its Rolls-Royce Merlin engine (built under license by Packard) and its long range it escorted bomber formations deep over Germany. The bubble canopy and the laminar-flow wing are characteristic; it was committed with the Eighth Air Force and with other Allied air forces.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Spray the base over a primer; the polished aluminum finish of the Mustangs comes out well with metallic paints on a smooth base, so stir those thoroughly and apply them at the end. Put a gloss clear coat on before the decals and unify the surface afterwards with a matte or satin finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
