The P-8A Poseidon is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft built on the basis of the Boeing 737 series airliner. It therefore keeps the civil silhouette with a pair of turbofan engines under the wing, but carries different avionics, operator workstations in the cabin and external pylons. In the US Navy it replaced an older turboprop type that had filled this role for decades, and it serves with other users as well. Worth noting in a modeling context is that thanks to its civil basis it looks unusual next to fighters and suits a collection of large machines rather than a group of combat aircraft.
With large aircraft it pays to join the fuselage in sections and to check the joints against the light as you go - a long fuselage carries even a small inaccuracy into a visible kink. Test the parts dry, glue with liquid cement run into the joints by capillary action and use tape or rubber bands as clamps. Sand the joints down once dry and restore the engraving with a scriber.
