A color photo-etched set from the Zoom range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It holds pre-printed self-adhesive photo-etched parts that sharpen above all the cockpit of this aircraft. It is not an airplane model but an accessory applied to a base kit; that has to be bought separately.
The Zoom range focuses on the most visible items of the interior, typically the instrument panel, side panels and seat belts. The parts are printed in color and self-adhesive, so they are easy to apply with no need for further painting. The exact contents and extent always follow the instructions enclosed in the package.
The Lockheed P2V Neptune was an American maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft. The P2V-7 version was among the later variants and, besides piston engines, also carried auxiliary jet engines for extra performance. The Neptune served on long patrol flights over the sea and was widespread in many countries.
