1:72 Pacific bunker base from the Black Dog brand is a terrain base with a fortification structure in a Pacific setting for 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A terrain base with a fortification structure set into the setting of the Pacific islands. It is a modeling scene, that is a finished section of terrain on which you stand a model of your own in the same scale.
The Pacific islands have a palette of their own in modeling. Rich green prevails, along with red-brown soil and bleached concrete, which ages quickly in a humid and warm climate. It is exactly the contradiction between the hard geometry of the structure and the soft surroundings that makes this subject so rewarding.
Unevenness is the key. A uniform gray acts like plastic, so apply several close shades over the base in irregular areas. The humid climate shows itself in dark stripes running from the upper edge and a greenish cast at the foot of the structure. Apply that one very thinned and in layers, otherwise a hint will turn into a stain.
If you decide to extend the display with vegetation, fit it at the very end, when the surface of the structure is finished. Reach for several lengths and shades, because real growth is never uniform. Place the densest part at the edges of the base and leave the middle freer for the model.
A model of your own, vegetation and paints are not in the price of this item.
