A low-lift pallet truck is the basic handling equipment of every depot, dispatch area and ramp. This item brings it as a stand-alone scenic prop for a diorama, not as a kit of a vehicle. In 1:72 scale it is a small but eloquent element that gives a scene scale and operational logic.
A pallet truck suits anywhere something is being handled: a depot hall, a loading ramp, an airfield support area, a workshop and a military supply area. Paired with pallets and boxes it quickly creates a believable workplace. Because it is civilian machinery of a long unchanged form, it is tied neither to one period nor to one country.
First remove the sprue gate remnants and check whether the truck seats on the base across its whole area; a light sanding of the underside saves later touching up. Choose the glue according to the material of the part; with small accessories cyanoacrylate glue works reliably. The painting rests on contrast: a saturated base on the chassis and the forks, a dark wash into the frame and a dry brush in a lighter shade on the edges. Suggest the wear of the paint on the forks and where the truck rubs against a pallet thinly with silver or graphite. Do not forget that in 1:72 legibility comes from contrast, not from the amount of detail.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a part for a diorama. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
