An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Panhard 178 armored car in the wz. 1940 variant in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand RPM. The set contains a sprue with the hull and the wheels shared with the other Panhards and a separate sprue with the Renault type turret; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Panhard 178 was a French armored car with four-wheel drive from the 1930s. The wz. 1940 variant carried a new Renault type turret with a more powerful 47 mm gun, mounted on the standard chassis. Given the situation at the time, only a prototype was built; it was deployed and proved itself, and in the end its crew had to destroy it so that it would not be captured.
Finish the chassis and the seating of the turret before closing the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, treat the surface with a primer and paint with an airbrush. For a faithful look use a French camouflage scheme, washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the wheels and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
