1:72 Phantom FGR.2 undercarriage

Phantom FGR.2 undercarriage photo-etched set (1:72, Eduard)

This is not an airplane model but an add-on photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard, aimed at the landing gear of the British version of the F-4 Phantom fighter, designated FGR.2, in 1:72 scale. The set adds fine detail to the gear legs, the doors and the bays, that is to say to the parts that are clearly visible to the naked eye even in a small scale and that plastic cannot render finely enough.

Use

• Carefully separate the parts from the photo-etched fret with a sharp knife.
• Form the bends to give clean, straight edges.
• Bond with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Once in place, paint the parts to match the real landing gear.

Who the set is for

• Advanced modelers building the Phantom FGR.2 in 1:72 scale.
• Those who want realistic, detailed landing gear.
• Collectors of British jet fighters.

This is an accessory for a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
