The Model Maker 1:72 Polish Sopwith Camel decals bring markings for a model of this biplane in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale intended for a model of the Sopwith Camel biplane, carrying Polish markings. These are decals for aircraft models, so it is neither a kit nor a set of accessory parts.
Models from the First World War period have covered surfaces with raised ribs, pronounced stitching and few large flat areas. The carrier film has to follow the shape, otherwise glossy stripes form over the ribs. A stronger softener applied repeatedly in thin layers helps, as does patience: always let the decal dry between individual applications.
Varnish and the order of work
On biplanes it pays to apply the decals before you start on the struts and the rigging. Between the rigged wires you can no longer reach the markings with a brush or a cloth. Varnish the whole airframe with gloss varnish first, and once the decals are dry use a matte or silk varnish, so the surface matches doped fabric covering.
The package holds decals. The model, the rigging, the paints and the varnishes are not part of it.
