Hauler 1:72 PzH 2000 is a set of photo-etched metal parts for a plastic kit of the modern self-propelled howitzer given in the name of the product. It deals above all with the sheet-metal covers and small fittings, where plastic looks oversized.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model of the howitzer but a supplementary set. It adds metal parts a few tenths of a millimeter thick to the Revell plastic kit: covers, grilles, sheet-metal reinforcements and small accessories. On modern hardware with smooth surfaces and sharp edges the effect is marked, because any thick plastic edge on a large flat area gives the scale away at once.
The PzH 2000 is a tracked self-propelled howitzer of 155 mm caliber, taken into service with the German army and further with several European users. It is among the most capable artillery systems in its category, it has automated loading and a fully rotating turret with a long barrel. Thanks to the tall hull and the large turret the silhouette is easy to recognize even in a small scale.
With long straight photo-etched parts watch the flatness. Bend them in one go over their whole length in a bending tool, not in sections, as otherwise a wavy edge results that can no longer be straightened. Lay the parts on dry first and only then glue them with cyanoacrylate applied with a pin. Degrease the metal before painting and spray on a base coat. A modern three-color camouflage sprays better in 1:72 with the paint thinned in advance and at low pressure, and hard edges can be suggested with masking putty or with a paper mask raised above the surface.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
