Plastyk 1:72 PZL P.7a is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish all-metal fighter with its characteristic cranked high-mounted wing of the early 1930s.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from a Polish manufacturer captures one of the iconic prewar Polish fighters. It is a simpler model from an older-generation mold, suited to collectors of Polish aviation history and to lovers of interwar designs.
The PZL P.7a was a Polish all-metal fighter with a characteristic cranked high-mounted gull wing and an open cockpit, powered by a radial engine. In the early 1930s it was among the most modern fighters in the world and became the direct predecessor of the more famous P.11 type. It formed the backbone of the Polish fighter force in the period before re-equipment.
With an older mold, clean the fit up: fill the joints and sand them down, and treat the surfaces with primer. Glue with thin cement for plastic. The wing struts and the landing gear call for careful seating. Use gloss varnish before the decals and finally even the surface out with matte varnish. The metal airframe can be brought out with metallic shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
