The second volume of the decal series devoted to the PZL TS-11 Iskra jet trainer in Polish service, in 1:72 scale. These are decals, serving as an accessory for a plastic model. Exactly what the sheet holds, and how it differs from the first volume, is given on the packaging of the set.
With series divided into volumes a simple rule applies: if you are building a model from a photograph of a particular aircraft, check before buying which volume holds the markings you are looking for. The individual parts do not normally overlap and complement one another.
Working with small legends
Technical legends in 1:72 are really small. Tweezers with flat jaws help, as do a shallow dish of lukewarm water and a soft brush with which the decal is slid along the film of water. Never lay small decals onto a dry surface; once they have gripped you will not move them again.
Once the decals are dry, apply a thin protective varnish, and only then go on to panel shading and weathering. The varnish protects the film from the solvents in a wash and prevents it from lifting.
The set holds decals. The model, the paints, the varnish and the chemicals are not part of it.
