Radiators and Venturi tube for the PZL P.24F/G in 1:72 scale from IBG models are 3D-printed replacement parts that refine the external detail of the model of the Polish fighter. It is an accessory for a model, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed parts intended for models of the Polish PZL P.24 fighter in the F and G versions. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for one: it holds the radiators and the Venturi tube, that is small external parts that are clearly visible on the real machine and that markedly affect the overall impression in a small scale. Printing manages thin walls and a fine surface that an injection mold cannot achieve for technical reasons.
The late versions of the PZL P.24 differed from the early machines in the powerplant and in the layout of the cooling, and that is why the manufacturer issued two separate sets, one for the early and one for the late versions. This one is prepared for the F and G versions; the manufacturer has issued a counterpart for the early versions. So make sure which version of the aircraft you are building.
The PZL P.24 was an export fighter derived from the P.11 type, an all-metal high-wing monoplane with a characteristic gull wing and a Gnome-Rhone radial engine. The machines served in Turkey, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria and saw combat at the turn of 1940 and 1941. It is precisely the Greek and Turkish machines that rank among the most frequently built subjects.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports, clean up the seating surfaces with a sharp knife and fit them with cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting a thin coat of primer pays off, and acrylic shades applied with an airbrush or a brush then hold well on it.
