This sheet set of waterslide decals holds British type B roundels in the two-color red and blue form. It is a universal sheet of insignia usable across models of British aircraft of the Second World War period. These are not decals tied to a single type of aircraft but an additional set of national marking. The model itself and the paints are not included.
The type B roundel was two-color, made up of a red center and a blue outer ring, without the white band. Historically it was used on the upper surfaces of the wings and elsewhere where less conspicuous marking was wanted. The set brings these roundels in several sizes, so as to cover various needs of scale on one model.
Cut the decals close to the marking and transfer them from lukewarm water onto a smooth gloss varnish so that no silvering occurs. The roundels are easier to settle across ribs and transitions with softening solution. Seal the finished markings with a protective varnish to the gloss you want.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
