An injection-molded plastic kit of the French light tank Renault R35 in its early version, 1:72 scale, manufacturer RPM. The model is supplied on sprues for assembly and painting. The early version differs from the later ones above all in the execution of the armament and of some details of the hull. The exact contents of the package are stated on the box of the edition.
The Renault R35 was a French light infantry tank of the second half of the 1930s, intended for the direct support of infantry. It had strong armor for its weight class, a crew of two and a cast turret. The early versions carried a short gun of 37 mm caliber. The R35 was one of the most numerous French tanks of 1940, and after the campaign the German army took over a larger number of them as well.
Use liquid cement for plastic and clean up the mold seams on the turret and the fenders carefully. Finish the running gear and the interior before you close the hull. A primer and an airbrush prove their worth; the typical finish is the French multicolor camouflage pattern with dark dividing lines. You will fine-tune the weathering with washes in the recesses and with fine dust and mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
