A plastic kit of the French light tank Renault R39 with the 37 mm SA38 gun in 1:72 scale from First to Fight.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a French light infantry tank in 1:72 scale. This boxing represents the version with the longer 37 mm SA38 gun and with the tail skid for crossing trenches. Models in this range are simpler and quick to build. Paints and glue are not included.
The Renault R39 was a French light two-man infantry tank, an updating of a concept from the First World War. It had strong frontal armor for its weight but a low top speed. As part of the update some vehicles received the more powerful long SA38 gun; only a limited number of these rearmed machines were in service in 1940.
Clean the parts up before gluing and test-fit the hull and the turret. Glue with a thin plastic cement. For weathering, washes in the recesses and pigments for mud effects on the running gear work well. French camouflage schemes with color fields separated by dark lines suit it.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
