Kelik 1:72 RF-4B cockpit interior 3D decals are colored, raised 3D decals for faithful detailing of the cockpit of models of the reconnaissance Phantom RF-4B. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Kelik contains 3D decals (wet, waterslide) in 1:72 scale with raised, full-color detail of the instrument panel, the side consoles and other elements of both cockpits of the two-seat Phantom. The layered printing gives the surface depth and replaces laborious painting of gauges in such a small scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an upgrade accessory for RF-4B models. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Hasegawa kit, with which the set is fitted.
The RF-4B was the unarmed reconnaissance version of the famous Phantom II operated by the United States Marine Corps. It carried reconnaissance equipment and cameras in a lengthened nose; its two-seat cockpit with richly subdivided panels is demanding for anyone detailing in a small scale, which is exactly why 3D decals pay off.
Clean and degrease the surface of the cockpit. Dip the elements briefly in lukewarm water, slide them off the backing and settle them precisely; the flexible carrier follows the shape. Use a decal softener sparingly so that the fine print is not damaged, and once dry you can fix it with a matte varnish.
The package contains interior 3D decals only. The model itself, paints and glue are not part of it.
