The Zvezda model offers a fine surface, a well-worked turret with a long barrel and decals for marking options. It is a striking piece of current artillery hardware that in this size takes up a reasonable amount of room in a cabinet.
The MSTA-S (2S19) is a Soviet and Russian 152 mm self-propelled howitzer that entered service at the end of the 1980s and replaced older systems. It combines a tracked chassis with a rotating turret carrying a long barrel with a range on the order of tens of kilometers. It is among the most widespread modern self-propelled guns in its category.
Finish and paint the running gear and the tracks before closing up the hull. Glue the long barrel carefully on the axis so that it is not crooked. After the base coat of modern green or multi-color camouflage, the model will be brought to life by washes into the recesses and pigments for dust effects on the lower areas. Fit the antennas and fine parts at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
