This kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer Armory represents a modern Russian military cargo truck with 6x6 all-wheel drive, type Mod.43114, in 1:72 scale. It is a multimedia set combining injection-molded plastic with photo-etched parts and resin components (the tires and the engine, for example), supplemented with a decal sheet with several marking options. The set is aimed at more experienced modelers who will appreciate the rich breakdown and the detail.
The subject is an off-road cargo truck of the Russian army with 6x6 drive, used to carry both cargo and troops. The vehicle with its powerful diesel engine and good off-road ability is one of the widespread types of modern Russian military logistics. The model faithfully captures its characteristic cab and flatbed cargo body.
Finish the chassis and drivetrain and the engine section before closing up the cargo body and the cab. Bond the photo-etched parts with super glue, and first wash the mold release agent off the resin components. For a realistic look, a base coat, a matte camouflage coat and then washes and pigments for mud and dust effects work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
