The Sukhoi Su-33 (NATO reporting name Flanker-D) is a Russian carrier fighter for air defense, derived from the successful Su-27. Compared with the land-based version it received strengthened landing gear, an arrestor hook, folding wings for stowage in the hangar and canards at the front. It is operated by Russian naval aviation from the deck of an aircraft carrier; it serves above all to protect the task force against air attack.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint and emphasize the cockpit before you close the fuselage and mask the clear glazing while spraying. Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush and apply the decals after a gloss coat. Build the external stores according to the scheme you choose; emphasize the deck section with a non-slip texture, a wash and appropriate service wear.
