An accessory set of exhaust nozzles for a model of the SAAB JAS-39C Gripen in 1:72 scale, made for the Italeri kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The SAAB JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish single-engine combat aircraft with a delta wing and canard foreplanes. The C version is single-seat and is among the most widespread renderings of the type. Its exhaust nozzle is clearly visible from behind and from below, and its inside is one of the places where the difference between a simplified and a well worked-out part shows most on a model.
Accessory parts of the exhaust nozzle for a model of the Gripen in 1:72 scale, prepared for the Italeri kit. They replace the part from the kit; you cannot build a model in its own right from them. The number of parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
First try the parts dry and only then decide how much plastic to cut off the kit. Cut surplus material and traces of manufacture off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down. Choose the glue according to the material: ordinary cement for plastic models holds only on polystyrene, so use super glue on other materials. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. Paint and tone the nozzle before you fit it into the fuselage, because afterwards you cannot get inside. Inside, it pays off to work from a dark base towards lightened edges and to add the warm shades only on the surfaces that were most exposed to heat.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
